Hedley and Jan Elliott owners and directors of Emu Bottom Homestead started the Emu Bottom Biscuit company back in 1991, with the intention that these products not only served as a tasty treat for all but also resonated the strong historical connection with Australia’s past. Biscuits at Emu Bottom whilst not commercially made until this time were always on the menu in the Homestead’s kitchen being traditionally baked in the Colonial oven of the old kitchen, and shared with family, friends and guests over a cup of billy tea and a sharing of tales of Australia’s past.
